come join us in our quilting adventure!

Joplin Area Town and Country Quilters

The Town and Country Quilters of Joplin, Missouri, was established in 1985. Our purpose is to promote the art and craft of patchwork and quilting. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the craft, from beginner to the professional. Annual dues are $15.00. We invite you to visit our general monthly meetings at First Presbyterian Church, 6th and Pearl, Joplin Missouri. We meet the 3rd Tuesday every month at noon for a pot luck luncheon. An educational program, show and tell,  and a business meeting start at 1 p.m. You will be a part of a great group of people who share the same interest as you.

Our Next Meeting

For our May 15th meeting, the education class will be taught by Jan Wallace at 10:30 a.m. and the topic is  South African hand embroidery.  The program at 1 p.m. will be presented by AQS certified appraiser Alice McElwain, and is titled "Mothers:  Historical, Hysterical and Otherwise".
