Joplin Area Town and Country Quilters

The Town and Country Quilters of Joplin, Missouri, was established in 1985. Our purpose is to promote the art and craft of patchwork and quilting. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the craft, from beginner to the professional. Annual dues are $15.00. We invite you to visit our general monthly meetings at Peace Lutheran Church on North St. Louis in Joplin Missouri. We meet the 3rd Tuesday every month at noon for a pot luck luncheon. An educational program, show and tell,  and a business meeting start at 1 p.m. You will be a part of a great group of people who share the same interest as you.

Our next meeting is on September 18th. 

The September 18th educational class will be taught by member Marilyn Johnson.  She will demonstrate how to make a bow tie block from a square piece of fabric at 10:30 in the classroom  Marilyn will furnish the supplies necessary to make this quick and easy block.

The program this month will be given at 1 p.m. by Pittsburg Kansas native Erica Plank;  a trunk show entitled, "Show and Tell".  She is the developer of a cathedral window template.  Her website, unseenhands.net features embroidery patterns.
