come join us in our quilting adventure!

Joplin Area Town and Country Quilters

The Town and Country Quilters of Joplin, Missouri, was established in 1985. Our purpose is to promote the art and craft of patchwork and quilting. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the craft, from beginner to the professional. Annual dues are $15.00. We invite you to visit our general monthly meetings at Peace Lutheran Church on North St. Louis in Joplin Missouri. We meet the 3rd Tuesday every month at noon for a pot luck luncheon. An educational program, show and tell,  and a business meeting start at 1 p.m. You will be a part of a great group of people who share the same interest as you.

Our Next Meeting

The new location is Peace Lutheran Church.  The address is 3100 N. St. Louis Ave. Joplin MO 64801

July 17th is the date for the next meeting.  Once every two years we hold a Silent Auction of sewing related items for our members.  Because it takes time to set it up, there will be no educational program this month in the morning.  We will also be playing a "Get to Know your Members" game.

The fifth Tuesday of this month, July 31st, we will have a Community Service Work Day, (also at Peace Lutheran Church),  from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.  On a Work Day we bring sewing machines and general sewing supplies and work on projects that will be donated to community organizations in October.  The projects will be supplied by the guild.   Bring a sack lunch and your own drinks.
