come join us in our quilting adventure!

Joplin Area Town and Country Quilters

The Town and Country Quilters of Joplin, Missouri, was established in 1985. Our purpose is to promote the art and craft of patchwork and quilting. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the craft, from beginner to the professional. Annual dues are $15.00. We invite you to visit our general monthly meetings at First Presbyterian Church, 6th and Pearl, Joplin Missouri. We meet the 3rd Tuesday every month at noon for a pot luck luncheon. An educational program, show and tell,  and a business meeting start at 1 p.m. You will be a part of a great group of people who share the same interest as you.

Our Next Meeting

The education class this month will feature Yeny Woody teaching needle turn applique in the classroom at 10:30.  Bring scrap fabrics, needle and thread to work with.

Our April speaker is Deborah Rubles.  She is the author of Quilters' Cutting Guide: The Sliding Ruler Method.  The time saving techniques featured in her publication will help you speed up the time you spend cutting fabric more efficiently and accurately.  She will speak at 1 p.m. following lunch.
