come join us in our quilting adventure!

Joplin Area Town and Country Quilters

The Town and Country Quilters of Joplin, Missouri, was established in 1985. Our purpose is to promote the art and craft of patchwork and quilting. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the craft, from beginner to the professional. Annual dues are $20.00. We invite you to visit our general monthly meetings at Peace Lutheran Church on North St. Louis in Joplin Missouri. We meet the 3rd Tuesday every month at noon for a pot luck luncheon. An educational program, show and tell,  and a business meeting start at 1 p.m. You will be a part of a great group of people who share the same interest as you.

Our Next Meeting

Each month we will describe the program for the month.  A visitor is welcomed to attend two meetings before becoming a member.

Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, March 19. Guild member Brenda Orban will be teaching mitering quilt borders and corners at 10:30 a.m. in the classroom.

At 1 p.m., quilter and author of "The Modern Applique Workbook" Jenifer Dick will be presenting a trunk show entitled "Because It's Applique", featuring quilts using the invisible zig-zag  applique technique.
