Our guild meets on the third Tuesday of the month. A visitor is welcomed to attend two meetings before becoming a member.
Please scroll down to see our schedule for the coming month.
Tuesday, February 20th will be a busy meeting day at the guild. Activities planned for January but cancelled due to the weather will be added to this meeting.
The education segment will be moved to 9:30 a.m. to accommodate two sessions. It will begin with the folding technique to make little dress appliques out of vintage handkerchiefs. You may bring a mini iron, extension cord, ironing surface and hankies, (or 10-12" squares of practice fabric) or just watch. It will be followed by a demonstration class to make a cute, functional case that can be made for sunglasses or a rotary cutter.
Noon to 1:00 p.m. will be a brown bag lunch.
1:00 p.m. activities will begin with the reveal of the Song Color challenge pieces. There will be a sale of batik fabrics and a video presentation showing how to do binding completely on the sewing machine. The business meeting will follow and end with show and tell. Sign-up and payment for the March 19th workshop on the Ten Sisters grid system must be made at this meeting.
